It's a healthy post today! After my first health post last week, I decided that I needed to make some more specific goals when it came to my health. Along with the best tea in the world, I knew I needed something more along the lines of what I was eating and how I could make more of an impact on my diet. After talking with a good friend at the gym about how she ate, it all started making sense; make a goal to eat one certain thing a day and then use moderation for the rest of the day.
My friend said that she has made a habit of eating one salad a day, and that, in turn, has reinforced her habits of eating lots of veggies and fruits, along with other good foods! She won't say no to a donut, but she'll balance it out with the rest of her diet during the day. I thought that was a super smart idea! So, here's a new addition to my goals: I will eat at least one salad, everyday.
