DIY: Mini Gold Skulls

This post was supposed to be up yesterday. However, yesterday turned into a ish-show, and I didn't end up getting it put together until late last night. So, here it is this morning! Bright and early, just for you!
Over the weekend, I found this little pot of gold paint from the thrift store. I'd seen it before at Home Depot, but had never bought any, because I never had a use for it.... until now. Bah bah baaaaaaah.
Sorry, that was totally cliche.
What I'm sharing today is what I chose to do with it. And where you can get you some too.

That's right. Mini. Gold. Skulls. Aren't they CUTE?!?! Here's what they started out as.

Little plastic halloween treat jars with no sense of who they were.
Until this happened.

It's called Sheffield Gold Leaf Finishes. You can find it (I did a google search for it) at Home Depot, however it looks like they only have the superlite finish.
All I did was paint over them with 1 coat of the gold leaf finish (THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!), let them dry, and then put them in their new home.

Don't they look so happy?!

I think they do. Now I want to gold leaf the shit out of everything. This could be trouble.
