You might remember how obsessed I am with Neon Art. However, as much as I love it, I could never have it in my home (at least for right now) due to the amount of money in my bank account (which is pretty close to $0) and the amount of space that I live in (which is rented and close to tiny. Ok, it is tiny.) So I'd started thinking about alternatives... Old vintage signs, secondhand whatevers... and then it hit me (BAM!) I could take one of these photos that I was so in love with and just have it printed! And then that thought evolved to Damn. I'll just make one myself! Cause I'm awesome like that, you know? And today, thanks to Signazon, I'm hanging my very own Trissta original above my fireplace. Here's the inspiration
I really loved this one by Ruby Anemic. Seriously. But due to reasons 1 & 2 (as stated before) I couldn't ever have her in my home. So, I took the saying (because I loved it so so much) and photoshop and I did the rest. Then, Signazon, being the great company that they are, got it printed for me on a Snap Poster (usually used for hanging outdoors and such) so the colors and quality were AMAZING!
And here you have it!
The frame came from a thrift shop (a score for under $15!), poster was printed by Signazon on Snap Poster Material, and all other mantel dressing came from things that I already owned. The skull was a spring DIY, the Silver OMG! came from Goodwill, plants survived my move, the pictures are a mixture of my own photography and vintage piece picked up during my travels, the turquoise candle was a gift, and the little granite boxes were picked up on a TJ Maxx clearance shelf for $2 a piece last year.
You may have caught a peek or two of this project on Instagram over the last couple weeks (I can't tell you how excited I've been to share it with you) so I'm so so happy that I'm finally finished with styling and photographing it.
It was so much fun working with Signazon and they have amazing customer service. My package was mailed to me over Thanksgiving (I still got it in less than a week!) and it was quality checked throughout the process to ensure that it was printed correctly and that the colors came through right. I would definitely order from them again.
I'm so beyond happy with how it turned out.
Last, but not least, here are some styling close-ups.
