Day 2 Skin Care

On the second day of my alternating schedule, I focus on my hair and face. With super sensitive skin, I've found it hard to keep it happy... This regiment has come from years of trial and error, and a few quirky finds in between.

Step 1: WHILE SHOWERING Using a clarifying shampoo, such as Nexxus Aloe Rid Clarifying Shampoo.

I keep it in my hair while I soap myself down, just to make sure my oily hair gets as much help as possible, then wash it out.

Step 2: WHILE SHOWERING After shampooing, I deep condition with TIGI's Bedhead Superstar Conditioner.
This conditioner is a little heavy for my hair, but by using it every other day, it doesn't weigh my hair down.

Step 3: WHILE SHOWERING Just before I get out of the shower, I wash my face. With sensitive skin, I found that using organic products has reduced the amount of inflammation I get after a good scrubbing. I use the Healing Garden's ReEnergize Facial Cleansing Gel

I love love love Healing Garden's organic line, because it's super easy on my super sensitive skin!! They also have a facial moisturizer,  eye cream, wrinkle cream, and so many other products that have not irritated my skin at all.

Step 4: AFTER SHOWERING. The first thing that I do after exiting the shower is to put on moisturizer and lotion. For my face, I have started using a small dab of Avon's Moisture Therapy Hand Cream.

Yes, I know that it's a hand cream, but it's so light weight and sinks into my skin. I need the extra moisturizing treatment, because my skin is so dry and sensitive. Anything too heavy will just make me break out horribly, while anything that's light, but has a fragrance does the same thing.

STEP 5: AFTER SHOWERING. Lotion! Follow Step 3 in the First Day of skin care.
And that is my little regiment! It's pretty easy to follow, you just have to remember what you did the day before. Although, now that I think about it, that can be pretty hard some days....
